An offline single-player tribute to old-school tile MMOs — built, piece by piece, by the people who play it. You start in the city of Newhaven; 37 biomes stretch out forever in every direction, each with its own creatures.

Your character: choose which of the world's folk you play as when your first isle keeper offers a body, or later from Newhaven's Registrar in the plaza; they face the way you move.
Combat: your style follows your main hand — a bow shoots (arrows in the quiver), a wand or staff weaves runes into spell sentences (runes are words: substances like Fire and Frost, verbs like Strike, Bind and Drain, modifiers like Twin and Wrath), anything else is melee. An offhand dagger in the shield slot lets an archer or mage fight back when enemies close in. Shift+WASD backs away mid-fight without dropping your target. Train Defence by taking hits. A mage can also speak spells directly: Enter opens the chant bar — type the words ("fire strike") and Enter casts them — and V toggles casting by voice (say the words aloud; browsers with speech recognition only). Every chanted word still burns its rune from the pouch.
Gather: trees, rocks, fishing spots, berry bushes, herb patches.
Farm: fenced fields grow naturally in Farmland — each one takes a single agriculture skill's seeds. Enter by the gate, hoe the bare soil to till it, then plant and harvest.
Craft: furnace (smelt/jewelry), anvil, workbench (carpentry/fletching/leather), loom, tanning rack, millstone, cauldron (potions), runestone altar.
Furnish & launch: carpentry furniture, casks, pottery and glassware can be placed in the world (click them in your pack) and picked back up. Boats launch onto water — board one and sail it, row small craft with a pair of oars, or ride oarless down the river current.
Firemaking: click logs in your pack to light a cooking fire.
Slain beasts drop meat and their own hide automatically — tan the hides into leather at a tanning rack.
Agility shortcuts: cross stepping stones, mossy stones, rock scrambles and cliff ledges at rivers and ravines. Harder crossings need more Agility and risk a slip — but training it makes you nimbler and quicker on your feet.
Alchemy table turns items into coins.
Villages dot the wilderness — talk to villagers, trade with their merchants.
Sailing: build a canoe/sailboat/ship at a shipyard (Shipwrighting), then click across rivers, lakes and seas. Deep-water fishing spots hold the best fish.
World map (M): everywhere you've explored, with hover icons for banks, villages, resources and mob camps. Scroll to zoom, drag to pan.
Postcard (K): saves a framed snapshot of the view, stamped with the place, coordinates and world. Everyone plays the same world — a postcard is an invitation, and its coordinates work in any copy of the game.
Trade at the general store. Bank at the chest. Eat food to heal. Autosaves.
Resources get richer with distance: 32 tiers each of trees, ores, fish, herbs, crops, runes and more.

Accessibility

UI text size Motion

Reduced motion swaps the graduation cinematic for a still crossing and turns continuous zooms and rotations into single cuts. UI text size scales the sidebar, log and menus — the world itself is untouched.

Privacy

Share gameplay data

When on, the game sends anonymous play events (moves, clicks, crafting, fights, menus) to the game's server so we can see which parts of the game are fun and which need work. No chat text, no personal data; tied to your account only if you're logged in.

Community

Community content (adopted art & sounds)

Sprites and sounds the community's Workshop has adopted quietly replace the placeholder/default art in your own game — a shared coat of paint, no download or install. Turn it off to play with the stock art only. Your own submitted-and-adopted proposals always show for you regardless of this setting.

Hear something odd in a bird recording — a voice, a siren, a car? Press N the moment you hear it (or the button below): the playing clips and their positions are logged so the stray sounds can be cut out of the recordings.
